INFORMATION TEXT ABOUT THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA RELATING TO EMPLOYEE CANDIDATES

 

This information text aims to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, primarily the privacy of personal life, in the processing of personal data according to the “Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”)” and “Notification on the Principles and Procedures to be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation of Informingas the data controller Macitler Furniture Architecture Industry and Trade Limited Company(“Company”) has been prepared.

1. Processed Personal Data

The following personal data will be processed in relation to you by the Company:
• Your Identity Information: Name and surname, place of birth, date of birth, marital status, driver's license information,
• Your Contact Information: address, email, phone, mobile phone,
• Your Data Related to Education, Work, and Professional Life: work history, education information, professional competencies, interests and hobbies, interview and employment assessments, interview and employment assessments,
• Your Family Status Information: marital status of individuals, number of children, data about spouse and relatives (such as identity, education)
• Your Data Regarding the Security of Our Company Facilities: data such as CCTV recordings, visitor logs, entries and exits to facilities,

2. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for the purposes of evaluating your job application and ensuring the physical security of the premises within the scope of your relationship with the Company.
 

3. Transfer of Processed Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred for the purposes stated in Article 2 of this Disclosure Text, within the scope of the provisions of the KVKK regarding the transfer of personal data domestically and internationally, to official institutions and organizations in the country, law enforcement authorities, domestic business partners, and our affiliates.


4. Methods and Legal Reasons for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with the legal grounds stated in Articles 5, 6, and 8 of the KVKK during the establishment and continuation of your employment relationship with the Company, from you, third parties, and legal authorities through internet, phone, e-mail, and physical, written, verbal, and electronic channels for the aforementioned purposes.
• Having your explicit consent,
• Necessity of processing personal data of the parties to the contract related directly to the establishment or performance of a contract, in order to provide the requested products and services and fulfill the obligations of the contracts you have entered into,
• Fulfillment of our legal obligation as the data controller,
• Being publicly disclosed by the relevant person themselves,
• Necessity of processing data for the establishment, use, or protection of a right,
• Necessity of processing data for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the relevant person.
Your special category personal data is collected, stored, and processed based on the following legal grounds:
• Having your explicit consent,
• Except for health-related personal data, in cases specified in the laws without seeking explicit consent,
• Health-related personal data may only be processed without seeking the explicit consent of the relevant person for the purposes of protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, treatment, and care services, planning and managing health services and financing, by persons or authorized institutions and organizations that are under an obligation of confidentiality.

 

5. Rights of the Relevant Person Whose Personal Data is Processed
According to the provisions of Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data.
• Learn whether personal data is being processed,
• Request information regarding your processed personal data,
Learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with that purpose.
Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, both domestically and internationally.
Request the correction of personal data if they are processed incompletely or incorrectly.
Request the deletion or destruction of personal data.
Request that in the case of correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data, these processes be communicated to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred.
Object to the emergence of a result against the person through the analysis of processed data solely by automated systems.
Request compensation for damages incurred due to the unlawful processing of personal data in accordance with the KVKK.

Depending on the nature of your request, your applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and in any case within thirty days; however, if the process requires an additional cost, you may be charged according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
