Pamphylia, an ancient region located in the southern part of Anatolia, extending from the east of the Aksu River to the eastern part of the Antalya province. It is situated between the ancient Lycian League and Cilicia. Pamphylia largely corresponds to the region known as Tarhuntašša during the Hittite period.

Yason Peninsula, located in the Perşembe district of Ordu, which holds the title of "Quiet City," is an archaeological and natural site. According to mythology, it is believed that the Argonauts, led by Captain Jason and accompanied by Hercules, came here in search of the "Golden Fleece."
